Does it sound strange to rely on the unseen forces? It might sound foreign, but we use them to make our decisions all the time.
We are wired to think the worse scenarios when making a decision
What am I talking about exactly here? Well, the majority of us make decisions based on fears. Fear of not getting what we want… Fear of failure… Fear of what other people are going to think of us… Fear of not being good enough… So, the decisions do not come from our hearts; they often come from our heads filled with self-limiting beliefs. In short, we make decisions based on what we think we can get.Fears are INVISIBLE forces
Can we see fears? a Big NO. And yet, they have such a grip on us. And, they chain us from doing what we really want. This is something I realized not long ago… What if our fears are imaginary? My personal experiences
Let me give you an example from my personal experience. Due to COVID, in the past summer, my family and I spent a lot of time in our backyard pool. I, for one, never really liked the water that much. I also never plunged into the pool. For some reason, I had this fear in me that held me back from ever attempting to act on it. Nevertheless, both my husband and my son were having so much fun plunging together into the pool. They even did a summersalt in the air before diving into the pool. It was so much fun to watch them… but I could not bring myself to take action to take the plunge.Conscious vs. Subconscious minds
Then, all of a sudden, I asked myself why I could not do it (see subconscious mind). I knew that it was safe since I did know how to swim…(at conscious level) I also knew that if something happened to me in the pool, both my husband and my son would come to the rescue. So, I followed my curiosity…With my intention and a lot of encouraging self-talk, it took me almost two months to have the guts to try my first attempt. And as I predicted, I was fine…… As I suspected, my fears WERE NOT real.If we can see in our mind, we can have in our life
I started to think about whether there were other areas in my life that I used fears as an excuse never to permit myself to break out the chain from them. When I first studied mindset management, I learned that most successful people use FAITH in making decisions. NOT FEARS. As human beings, our potential is unlimited. Most of the time, what we can see is in our mind is what we can have in our life, if we know how to be in harmony with the laws of the manifestation.Faith is also an Unseen force
Except that Faith allows you to move forward and act out the deep desires within you. Most importantly, faith allows you to live the life you WANT.
Learn from YOU2 book
In the book You2, it says that “there are resources you can access that cannot be SEEN and they are far greater and more powerful than the resources you might readily observe.” Faith is one of the resources that we should all rely on when making decisions. IN FACT, history has shown that it WAS the crucial resource that many incredible inventions were materialized (the airplane from the Wright brothers, the V8 car from Herny Ford…etc.). Had they used fears to make their decisions, these inventions would never have come into fruition. They used FAITH to carry out their vision in spite of outside circumstances. It was their mindset that manifested what they saw in their minds.Choose the force wisely
IN SHORT, both fear and faith are invisible. And yet, our feelings toward them are different and our reactions to them are day and night apart. So, pay attention to what your HEART says when you make a decision next time, ask yourself the question. Are you making your decision out of faith or fear? Do you want to live a dream, or do you WISH that you could live your dream?Choose one that propels you to go further towards your goal. And CHOOSE wisely.
