So, I learned to ask the question “who am I becoming” this week.

It was a question that felt earth-shattering at first…

For the last 22 years, I had been asking who I am. Just when I’d thought that I’d found my answer I realized that it was not the right question.

I felt that I was going backwards on my journey to self-discovery.

However, upon thorough consideration, I felt so FREE and grateful to Sam Ovens, who addressed this issue in one of his training courses that I am currently taking.

Who am I implies a fixed identity

When we ask who I am, we focus on a fixed identity. When we tell the world who I am (title, job, role, etc.), we are also telling who I AM NOT.

In our evolution process, we as humans evolved. Evolution implies variation. And in it, we grow.

Therefore, the purpose of our life cannot lie in Who I am.

This fixed mindset discourages changes. It is based on limitation instead of possibility.

And maybe because of this static or fixed mindset, we feel STUCK in life.

Who am I becoming

On the other hand, who I am becoming implies evolution; it projects progression.

Life expresses differently at various stages of our lives. Life is full of possibilities.

In the journey of who I am becoming, we grow out of the sameness into new entities on a continuous basis

We live on the premise of evolving ourselves into new entities.

Life is fun and adventurous.

And that is the purpose of our lives…In the exploration, in the living we get to discovery our gifts and our potential.

Taking a break from Blogging

That brings me to announcing to you on the change to my blog.

In my own journey of self-discovery, I have decided to take a break from blogging and putting more effort on self-development and coaching.

I want to express my thanks and gratitude to all of you who have been reading my blog and I want to congratulate you all on your journey of becoming who you want to be at every stage of your life.

Please check out my future announcing on upcoming coaching programs.
